4 tips about Flirting at your neighborhood Grocery Store
A number of my friends have had interesting grocery store encounters in the last few weeks. My friend Valentine Cherry-Hill*, spotted a sweet woman within the produce section of D.C.’s so-called “Soviet Safeway”–where the lines are so long they made meaningful eye contact as they were in Communist Russia–and. Though he did not have the wherewithal to approach her in person, he set up a Missed Connections advertising on Craig’s List, which she taken care of immediately . and from now on, they truly are going steady!
Another friend–Maurice Amsterdam*–was in a market that is small top of the West Side yesterday whenever a gamine girl asked him if she should invest the excess couple bucks for natural strawberries. Notably startled by her unforeseen concern, Maurice mumbled, “Sure, then? You’re worthwhile!” then shuffled down into the check-out countertop. right while he walked away, bashful (and yet shockingly handsome) Maurice kicked himself for perhaps not doing exactly what she had demonstrably hoped will be a flirtation.
Additionally, when I’ve mentioned, the Stop&Shop that is local is of my dad’s favorite places for fulfilling ladies.
After which there is . me! Do you realy keep in mind just just how, per month or two ago, we flirted in line at Whole Foods because of the groovy head that is talking’d seen significantly less than an hour or so prior to, holding forth on CNN?
